Bradford Nordeen

Director, Dirty Looks, a monthly platform for queer experimental film and video

Bradford Nordeen was born in St. Louis, Mo. He holds an M.A. in Cinema Cultures from King's College London and a B.F.A. in Photography and Media from CalArts. Nordeen has organized screenings internationally and, in January 2011, launched Dirty Looks, a monthly platform for queer experimental film and video. A roaming series, Dirty Looks has been hosted by New York City venues PARTICIPANT INC, Judson Memorial Church, P.P.O.W, Silvershed, and White Columns (forthcoming) and will tour the West Coast in February 2012 with dates at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and the Hammer Museum, amongst others. His writing has appeared in publications like Art in America, the Fanzine, indieWIRE, X-TRA, Lambda Literary, the L Magazine, Little Joe, and Butt Magazine. He lives in Brooklyn, N.Y.
