Physician, Oregon Reproductive Medicine
Brandon J. Bankowski, M.D., M.P.H., is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist who has practiced at Oregon Reproductive Medicine since 2005. He received his bachelor’s degree in biomechanical engineering from Cornell University, where he also played intercollegiate football.
His M.D. was received from Georgetown University. Dr. Bankowski completed his residency in gynecology and obstetrics and sub-specialty training in all aspects of assisted reproductive technology (IVF) at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, the number-one hospital in the U.S. as ranked by U.S. News & World Report for 22 years. He also has a master’s degree in public health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a certificate in health management. While at ORM, his study on the impact of complementary acupuncture and massage on ORM patients was presented at the international congress in Prague. More recently, he is authoring an original study on the link between specific periodontal bacteria and recurrent pregnancy loss. He is a fellow of ACOG and a member of ASRM and the European Society for Human Reproduction (ESHRE).
Dr. Bankowski’s goal is to work to continually improve the reproductive care provided to his patients, whether they are in Portland or abroad. He is also committed to helping ORM Genetics improve the genetic health of patients through increased awareness, screening and the utilization of state-of-the-art preimplantation genetic testing. Dr. Bankowski is known for his calm and reassuring manner. He is married and, with the addition of his twin boys, now has four children.
