Global Health Corps Fellow
Brian Ssennoga is from Kampala, Uganda. He completed his undergraduate degree at Makerere University, majoring in Computer Science, and his postgraduate studies at Amity University in India, majoring in Information Technology. Brian is passionate about Information and Communications Technology (ICT), and is particularly interested in its intersection with healthcare. Previously, he worked with Watoto Child Care Ministries and various African projects for AED-Satellife's Center for Health and Information Technology, for which he received an award for his work in strengthening health information systems in Uganda. Prior to joining GHC, Brian worked at the International Health Sciences University in Kampala, where he provided ICT support to staff and students. He is a strong advocate for Free and Open Source Software, has worked with the local Linux User Community, and has served on the FOSSFA Council and Executive.
