Brian Stewart

Masters of Public Policy candidate at Pepperdine University. HBCU Alumnus and Human Rights Advocate.

Raised in Baltimore City and Annapolis, Maryland, Brian Stewart graduated from Morgan State University in May 2015 with Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration; concentrating in International Affairs. No stranger to public service, in 2007, Brian received a Mayoral Citation and was appointed an Ambassador to the City of Annapolis by the Mayor; for his community organizing efforts and involvement in ending the city's neighborhood and gang violence. In 2011, Brian received a Governors Citation from 2016 Presidential Candidate and then Governor of Maryland, Martin O'Malley for his leadership, commitment, and service to the State of Maryland. At the age of 20, in the summer of 2013, Brian became the only undergraduate HBCU White House Intern during the summer internship class.In the fall of 2015, Brian entered the Master's of Public Policy program concentration in International Relations and State and Local Policy at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
