Britt Lake

Chief Program Officer, GlobalGiving

As GlobalGiving's Chief Program Officer, Britt oversees relationships with more than 2,500 nonprofits in 170 countries. In this role, she has managed multi-million dollar disaster relief grantmaking portfolios with a focus on supporting locally driven organizations working to rebuild their own communities after natural disasters. She is a founding member of Feedback Labs, a consortium of nonprofits committed to making governments, NGOs and donors more responsive to the needs of their constituents. In addition to almost a decade at GlobalGiving, Britt has also worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and with a variety of nonprofits in Sierra Leone, South Africa, Kenya, and Zimbabwe. Britt holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, a Master's in International Relations from the University of Cape Town (South Africa), and a Master's in Public Affairs from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School.
