Brooke Barnett is a high-powered criminal defense attorney based in Newark, N.J. Her inspiration to defend the criminally accused arose from her own run-in with the law as a teenager. Her own practice, Brooke M. Barnett & Associates, specializes in criminal law as well as civil litigation and family law. She lives with her life and business partner, Mag Voelkel, and considers herself a proud stepparent to Mag’s two children, Kevin, 21, and Nicole, 18. Brooke and Mag co-star in the new docu-soap series Jersey Strong.
