Cheryl “Action” Jackson has struggled from her family experiencing hunger to providing over 6seven million meals to people through her award winning organization, Minnie’s Food Pantry, a charity she founded to honor her mother, Dr. Minnie Hawthorne- Ewing. She is the voice for the hungry, a speaker who doesn’t just motivate, but activates her audiences. She has been the keynote speaker for fortune 500 companies like AT&T, Experian, JCPenney, McDonalds, Bishop TD Jakes’ God’s Leading Ladies, and for hundreds of conferences, schools and organizations. Jackson has appeared on The Ellen Show she and her team were the first winners of the American Bible Challenge game show. She has appeared on Good Morning America where she was honored with the Home Hero Award and singer Rihanna and Jim Parsons came to serve with her at the food pantry. Her charity has been recognized and featured nationally in Essence, Jet Magazine, ABC News, NBC, CBS The Talk, Oprah Winfrey.com, TBN and The Steve Harvey Show. Jackson is a producer, author,consultant and a red carpet host. Jackson has interviewed celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith, Emmitt Smith, Magic Johnson just to name a few. Her passion is being a voice for the hungry and those in need.
