Carlos A. Saladrigas

Co-founder of The Vincam Group; Co-founder of the Cuba Study Group

Carlos A. Saladrigas is an entrepreneur who co-founded The Vincam Group, which in 1998 was named the largest hispanic-owned company by Hispanic Business Magazine. He is currently a director of Duke Energy and Advance Auto Parts.

In 2001 Saladrigas co-founded the Cuba Study Group, a group of prominent Cuban-American entrepreneurs with the objective facilitating change in Cuba and in U.S. policy towards Cuba.
Over the years the CSG has published several white papers on Cuba policy, and has championed programs to promote people-to-people, reconciliation, and small business development in the Island.

Saladrigas has been an active civic and community leader in Miami. He holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BBA from the University of Miami. Cuban-born, he came to the U.S. in 1961 as an unaccompanied minor in what was known as “Operation Pedro Pan”. He has written articles on Cuba for several publications, and is a frequent speaker on Cuba issues.
