Carlos Alberto Montaner is a writer and journalist. Author of 28 books of essays and novels. Born in Cuba, lived 40 years in Madrid and now resides in Miami. He has written thousand of articles for the press. He is a columnist for The Miami Herald and weekly publishes articles in dozens of papers in Latin America, Spain and the United States. Foreign Policy magazine chose him among the 50 most influential journalists in Latin America. He is an analyst for CNN in Spanish. His latest book is the novel Tiempo de Canallas.
