Carlos S. Moreno, Ph.D. is Associate Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and Biomedical Informatics at Emory University, where he is a member of the Winship Cancer Institute. Dr. Moreno obtained his B.S. and M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, and worked for NASA before he earned his Ph. D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Emory University in 1998. His research focuses on cancer bioinformatics, cancer biology and cancer genomics. He is a Public Voices Fellow with the Op-Ed Project.
