Carol DeChant compiled and wrote introductions for Fifty Great American Catholic Eulogies and has contributed essays to several collections, including Diamond Presence: Twelve Stories of Finding God at the Old Ball Park. Her articles have appeared in the Chicago's Tribune and Sun-Times, the Miami Herald, and Huffington Post. She founded and is now retired from the PR firm, DeChant-Hughes & Associates, Inc. based in Chicago, which has been serving the publishing industry for thirty-eight years. Carol and her husband Stan Reinisch live in Sarasota, FL, where they enjoy hosting visits from their six children and ten grandchildren, especially during spring training season.
