Carola McGiffert is Managing Director on BGR Group’s international government relations team, where she leads the firm’s growing China practice to help U.S. and Chinese companies do business and navigate policy issues. Prior to joining BGR Group, she was the founding CEO of the US-China Strong Foundation. She served in the Clinton (1993-1997) and Obama (2010-2012) administrations and at the Center for Strategic and International Relations (2003-2009) as a senior fellow and chief of staff to the CEO. She graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in social studies and from Johns Hopkins School of International Relations with an MA in Chinese Studies. < BACK
