Carole Bernard

Professor of finance at Grenoble Ecole de Management

Carole Bernard graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Cachan (France) and obtained her Ph.D. in Finance in Lyon in 2005. She taught at the University of Waterloo (Canada) from 2006 to 2014. She has then worked as professor of finance at Grenoble Ecole de Management (France) since 2015. Her research interests are in finance, insurance and economics. Among others, Carole was awarded the 2011 EGRIE Young Economist Best Paper Award, the 2012 Johan de Witt prize from the Dutch Actuarial Society and the 2014 PRMIA award for Frontiers in Risk Management.
