CEO, Sevenshift

Caroline Webb is CEO of Sevenshift, a coaching firm that helps clients strengthen their personal effectiveness and their ability to inspire others. Caroline is also a senior adviser to McKinsey, where she was previously a partner for many years. She's the author of a forthcoming book called How To Have A Good Day, which shows readers how to apply cognitive and behavioral science to enjoy more satisfaction and effectiveness in their day-to-day working lives. As well as blogging for Huffington Post, she blogs for HBR and posts daily science-based advice on Twitter and Facebook. You can also find her on Google+.

While at McKinsey Caroline co-founded their leadership practice; she was the architect of the firm's approach to improving the dynamics and overall effectiveness of top teams, and in recent years led their client work in the field of personal leadership effectiveness. She is equally at home in the private and public sectors having spent the 1990s working at the Bank of England as an economist. She is a Founding Fellow of the Institute of Coaching Professional Association at McLean Hospital (a Harvard Medical School affiliate) and has degrees in Economics from Cambridge and Oxford Universities.
