Cassandra Jackson

Cassandra Jackson is a Professor of English at The College of New Jersey. She received her Ph.D. in English from Emory University. Her research and teaching interests are in American literature and visual culture. Her latest book is Violence, Visual Culture, and the Black Male Body (Routledge in 2010.) She is currently writing a memoir about her experiences with infertility. She is an alum of the OpEd Project.
