Ceci Garrett is a hoarding support specialist, the founder of the faith-based organization, Lightening the Load, which offers support and services to individuals and families trying to overcome hoarding behaviors in Spokane, Washington, and a blogger at Hoarding Hope. Ms. Garrett became intimately acquainted with hoarding and its effects on the individual, family and community after growing up with a parent with the disorder. She appeared with her mother on "Hoarders" in 2009 and again in 2011, and continues to share the hope that her family has found overcoming hoarding.
