Serial Entrepreneur/Digital Strategist

Cecilia Pagkalinawan is serial entrepreneur and digital strategist who also serves on the board of non-profits Music Unites and Venture for America. Cecilia was named to Silicon Alley Reporter’s inaugural “Silicon Alley 100 List” in 2000, NAWBO’s (National Association of Women Business Owners) “New York Woman Entrepreneur of the Year” and co-founded MOUSE (Making Opportunities for Upgrading Schools & Education) in 1997. She launched online stores for multi-national brands Nine West, Burberry, Frette and La Perla and served as CEO of BoutiqueY3k and StyleTrek. She was a part of the management team of digital agency K2 Design which went public on the NYSE in 1997 as well as a key executive at RichFX (acquired by ChannelAdvisor), dotbox (acquired by MDC Partners) and mobile music start-up Stagedom. She has recently consulted with media companies such as Conde Nast and Time Warner on contextual advertising, commerce, and second screen projects. She frequently speaks at conferences and universities on the topics of entrepreneurship, e-commerce, mobile and digital marketing.
