Charles Thomson is a multi-award-winning writer.

His stories have been published by outlets including the Sun, the Mirror, the Daily Star, the Guardian, MailOnline, MOJO and Wax Poetics. He has appeared on television and radio stations across Europe and America.

Best known for breaking numerous world exclusives about Michael Jackson, he has contributed to two chart-topping biographies about the star and is referenced in several others.

He has received numerous awards for his campaigning and investigative journalism.

In November 2009 he won a prestigious Guardian Award for his article ‘James Brown: The Lost Album’. In 2012 he received a 'Highly Commended' award in the 'Best Newcomer' category at the EDF Regional Media Awards. In 2014, the same ceremony named him 'Weekly Print Journalist of the Year'.
