Charlie Kindel is known for building the Windows Phone 7 application platform and 3rd party ecosystem, Windows Home Server, Windows Media Center, and multiple startups. His 21 years building and selling products at Microsoft, coupled with his analytic skills, insight, technical depth, and broad industry connections provide him with a unique perspective on the IT industry.

As General Manager for the Windows Phone 7 developer experience at Microsoft, Mr. Kindel drove the cross-Microsoft effort to the developer experience for Windows Phone 7 that landed 100,000 applications for Windows Phone 7 in 2 years. After leaving Microsoft in 2011, Mr. Kindel has become a sought after public speaker and consultant specializing in mobile, platform ecosystems, developers, consumer products, startups, and cross-organization and company collaboration.

Charlie uses speaking and consulting to partially fund his "startup habit". He is CEO and Founder of BizLogr, Inc, a startup focused expense tracking (see www.milelogr.com).
