Lead clean water legislative and policy advocate, Earthjustice

Chris Espinosa is lead clean water legislative and policy advocate for Earthjustice, a non-profit public interest law organization dedicated to protecting the magnificent places, natural resources, and wildlife of this earth, and to defending the right of all people to a healthy environment. Chris has served as senior legislative assistant for Representative Julia Brownley (D-CA) who represents his home town of Santa Paula, CA. Previously, he served as the National Director of Advocacy for the Hispanic Federation, National Director of Special Projects for the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and Deputy Director of the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA). Chris also managed the coordination within the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda (NHLA) while his boss served as chair of that 30-member coalition. He also helped lead NHLA’s successful Latinos United for Healthcare Campaign to influence and pass President Obama’s Affordable Care Act.
