Chris Van Vliet is the 4-time Emmy award winning entertainment reporter for Deco Drive, the daily entertainment show on WSVN-TV, the FOX affiliate in Miami. Before moving to South Florida, Chris was an entertainment reporter and anchor for CBS-19 in Cleveland and was a radio personality on WDOK. He has appeared in films like Criminal Activities, The Love Guru, Chloe, The Bronze and Love Finds You in Sugarcreek. Chris is a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association and votes for the annual Critics’ Choice Awards. He has reported from the Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, Cannes Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival. In 2011, Chris was named Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Bachelor of the Year and donated the $10,000 prize money to The Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Born and raised in Pickering, Ontario Chris' passion for broadcasting dates back to the age of 4 when he would pretend to be a radio host with his Fisher Price tape recorder. He is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario with bachelor of arts degree in Communication Studies and worked in Peterborough, Vancouver and Toronto before moving to the US in 2010. Chris lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL and spends much of his free time bass fishing and watching WWE.
