Christen Clifford is a writer and performer in New York. She has written for Salon, Nerve, Black and White Magazine, Identity Theory, Blue, The New York Press, Evergreen Review, Smith Magazine, and her work is anthologized in Everything You Know About Sex Is Wrong (Disinfo Press, 2005). Her solo performance BabyLove premiered in Ljubljana, Slovenia and later ran for 3 months Off Broadway at 45 Bleecker in 2008; it was named Critic's Pick in New York Magazine and Time Out New York. She has performed at The Moth, PS 122, Joe's Pub, Town Hall, Galapagos, Classic Stage Company, and The Public Theatre as well as in film and TV. She is the winner of a 2007 NYFA fellowship, a member of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality and the Association for Research on Mothering, and the proud mother of Felix and Vera.
