Christian C. Sahner
Middle East historian
Christian Sahner is a historian of the Middle East. His work deals with the formation of Islamic civilization, relations among Muslims and Christians, and the politics of the modern Middle East. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of History at Princeton University. A Rhodes Scholar, he earned an M.Phil with distinction in History and Arabic from Oxford, and an A.B. summa cum laude in Art & Archaeology, also from Princeton. His writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal and The Times Literary Supplement, among other publications.
