Christina M. Paschyn is an international multimedia journalist covering women and gender issues, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. She earned bachelor and master's degrees in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She also holds a master's in Middle East Studies. Her work has been published by Euronews, the Christian Science Monitor, Chime for Change, Ms. Magazine, Women's eNews, TIME Magazine, the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, Cosmopolitan Magazine Middle East and Harper's Bazaar Arabia, among other publications.

She is also a documentary filmmaker. Her latest film, A Struggle for Home: The Crimean Tatars is about the history of the Crimean Tatar people and their ongoing struggle for freedom since the Russian re-annexation of the Crimean Peninsula.
