Christine Bumatay

Christine Bumatay is a storyteller, social media professional, and Pilipinx culture advocate born and raised between Mandaluyong City, Philippines and the San Francisco Bay Area. An alumna of USC's Public Relations program, she also has 23 years of experience translating Tagalog to English. She is also an expert at eating garlic rice, ulam, and halo-halo in one sitting. She founded Sosyal Gal, an ever-changing digital landscape showcasing the thoughts and opinions of a Genzennial Pilipina living in California.
