Using her background in human rights, Christine Hart manages Women Thrive Worldwide's work to end gender-based violence, focusing especially on the International Violence Against Women Act and ensuring that women in poverty have a voice in development efforts. She holds a master's in international human rights with concentrations in human trafficking and contemporary slavery and international human rights law from the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies, and a bachelor's in political science and history from Colgate University.
Her passion for global women’s issues took root when she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the area of girls’ education and empowerment in rural Burkina Faso.
