Sir Christopher Frayling is the author of The Yellow Peril: Dr. Fu Manchu and the Rise of Chinaphobia, just published by Thames and Hudson. A historian, critic and award-winning broadcaster on radio and television, he was until recently Rector of the Royal College of Art in London and Chair of Arts Council England. He has published twenty books on art, design and popular culture, including an acclaimed biography of Sergio Leone, an influential study of literary vampires, and—with his wife Helen—the best-selling The Art Pack.
