Chrysovalantis P. Kefalas, an attorney and communications strategist, previously served as Deputy Speechwriter to U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr. (D), trial and appellate attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, a civil litigator in private practice, and Deputy Legal Counsel to Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. (R-MD). Kefalas has testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform and has served as a panelist for the American Bar Association Commission on Effective Criminal Sanctions. He has been extensively cited by legal publications on Maryland's Executive Clemency program, and was the editor-in-chief of the most circulated volunteer liability text in Maryland: Volunteer Management in Maryland.
