Exploration geologist

Cinda Graubard is an exploration geologist, living in Boulder, CO, with her husband George Smith, also a geologist. She is the mother of two children, co-owner of GeoMax, a small consulting company, and is a passionate “master” rower and a founding member of Boulder Community Rowing. Her interest in the subject of teen suicide awareness and prevention began when her beloved 17-year-old nephew, Teddy, died of impulsive suicide on February 18, 2009. He was a happy and successful high school junior at the Dalton School in NYC.
