Development Associate at Chess-in-the-Schools

Claire Wasserman is a Development Associate at Chess-in-the-Schools. She has worked in various fundraising capacities beginning in high school when she raised $10,000 to build an all-girls' school in Afghanistan. Though fundraising is never an easy endeavor, she truly believes that people want to give; giving makes us feel good. She is passionate about education, the arts, and recently produced the short film: www.snovifilm.com. She is interested in outside the box fundraising and how branding and social media can help non-profits market themselves better. She hopes to connect corporate sponsors with Chess-in-the-Schools.

A graduate of Boston University, Claire lives in New York City.
