Clancy Sigal has published four novels, including Going Away, a National Book Award nominee. He was principal screenwriter for the 2002 film Frida. He is a reporter and ex-BBC correspondent and was based for many years in London. He worked closely with the charismatic “anti-psychiatrist” R. D. Laing and knew Jimmy Hoffa. He is a professor emeritus at University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communication, and he lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son.
