Clare Winterton is Vice President of Advocacy and Innovation at Global Fund for Women. Clare led the International Museum of Women (IMOW) for five years as its Executive Director. During her leadership, IMOW created seven exhibitions which inspired and activated over 2 million visitors, and held events and installations in 14 countries on five continents. She led IMOW’s merger with Global Fund for Women to create a bold new force for awareness and action on women’s human rights. Clare combines a deep commitment to social justice with a passion for culture, media and the arts and has been a regular contributor to the Huffington Post on the women’s rights and popular culture.
