Clarissa Laskey

Clarissa Laskey, the originator of clarissaexplainsitall.net, hails from Philadelphia, but now lives in the suburbs, works in the insurance industry and has 2 children, Reece (11) and Tatum (5). Clarissa has been a featured guest on the Today Show with Jean Chatzky (Investing 101: Expert Counseling on retirement saving), appeared on QVC, participated in a photo campaign for Visit Philly, as well as written a couple of articles that were published on sites such as JeanChatzky.com (Identity Theft) and HuffingtonPost.com (My Blended Family – Huffington Post).

Today, clarissaexplainsitall features everything from fashion tips and finds, product reviews, recipes, travel and giveaways. This fun loving mom would like to continue on the path of being a brand advocate, as well as a social media consultant.

Clarissa has a B.A. in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media from Temple University. She has worked in Corporate America for The Police Athletic League (within their Public Relations department), The Federal Reserve Bank, Enterprise Leasing Company and Travelers Insurance Company. In her spare time, when she’s not working, taking care of the kids, interacting on social media or blogging , she loves to spend time with her husband Keith, online shop, travel, cozy up with an interesting book, and spend time with friends!
