Chandralekha Singh is a professor in the Department of Physics and also the Director of the Discipline-based Science Education Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh. She is an international leader in physics education. She is passionate about reducing the barriers and increasing the participation of women and other underrepresented groups in physics. She has played key leadership roles in the physics professional society, published more than 150 articles and has conducted more than 200 workshops and invited talks.
