Clyde Elezi

Hairstylist/Owner, The Drawing Room New York

Clyde Elezi is a renowned hairstylist and owner of The Drawing Room New York in New York’s Soho neighborhood. He grew up in Athens, Greece where as a child he found inspiration in the beauty of Greek architecture and classically beautiful women. This passion for dynamic shapes, impressive structures and intricate textures led him to a career in the hair designing industry.

In 2004, after training at the most advanced hair academies around the world –including Vidal Sassoon and Toni & Guy – Clyde brought his European edge to Manhattan as a stylist for the Cutler/Redken salon. Clyde’s European background for creative hair design has helped to shape Clyde to become one of the most sought-after hair stylists.

With the April 2010 opening of his salon The Drawing Room New York (148 Spring Street, New York, NY), Clyde has realized a lifelong dream. The Drawing Room New York brings the latest techniques in cutting and hair color to real women in an intimate setting. Clyde says, “Our mission is to create custom designed hair styles that reflect each client’s individuality, desire and unique personality.”

The Drawing Room New York’s tailored space and meticulous design is the perfect environment for Clyde and his team to carry out their signature style of architectural hair design. The result: extraordinary beautiful hair -- couture for you.

In addition to runway shows in Paris and London, Clyde’s work has been featured in the New York Daily News, Metro and Hair and Color Design magazine. Clyde was the recipient of the Wella Trend Vision award; and, in 2008, Clyde gave BRAVO’s “Make Me a Super Model” contestant Holly Kiser a savvy and sophisticated makeover, which helped elevate her to fan-favorite status and an eventual win.

When not traveling for business, Clyde resides in New York City.
