Colette Brooks is founder and Chief Imagination Officer of Big Imagination Group (BIG) – a Los Angeles based marketing and communications firm that combines branding, go-to-market strategies and social action initiatives to help sustainable companies grow their businesses. In 2003 she partnered with Global Green USA to convince a handful of celebrities to shun gas-guzzling limos, and instead, take chauffeur-driven Toyota Priuses to the Academy Awards. This set off a cultural tipping point for hybrid technology and catalyzed the consumer groundswell for alternative fuel vehicles.

Over her three-decade career, Colette has created breakthrough campaigns that support the environment, arts education, animal welfare and conscious consumerism featuring a variety of nationally recognized LOHAS brands.

Colette serves as board chair of Tim Robbins’ politically and socially relevant theatre company, The Actors’ Gang, providing enrichment programs to cultivate nonviolent expression among youth at risk, underserved public school students and parole-eligible prison inmates prior to re-entering society. She also serves on the board of 5 Gyres Institute,
committed to research, education, and advocacy to eradicate plastic pollution.
