Colin Smith is an attorney who was born and raised in New York's lower Hudson Valley region an hour north of Manhattan. In 2003, he graduated from Pace Law School in New York and has lived and worked in the region ever since. His main areas of practice are Criminal Defense, Divorce/Family & Bankruptcy. In his spare time, he likes to write about politics and social issues, as well as the occasional poem. In 2014, he published his first (and only) book of poetry. He is currently working on a second book. He currently lives with his longtime girlfriend and their daughter. They also have two dogs. His hobbies include hiking, reading, dining, swimming and watching crime documentaries.
