Corey Rennell

Founder, CORE Foods

Corey Rennell is the founder of CORE Foods, a not-for-profit company that creates fresh alternatives to packaged food. During his research in nutrition at Harvard he became frustrated that lab studies were too high-variable to make decisive nutritional conclusions. Seeking more empirical evidence, Corey joined the BBC and Discovery Channel to study the fitness and health practices of 12 tribes living in survival circumstances. He compared his findings alongside the digestive physiology of chimps to synthesize enduring human nutrition trends. He is now a strong advocate for the separation of food from profit and promotes simple health practices like eating mainly fresh whole fruits & veggies and exercising daily.
