Dr. Courtney Finlayson is a Pediatric Endocrinologist at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. She is the endocrinologist for the Lurie Children's Hospital multi-disciplinary Gender & Sex Development Program. This program has two separate arms which require the services of similar medical experts, including pediatric endocrinology, pediatric urology, adolescent medicine, pediatric surgery, psychology, psychiatry and ethics. The Gender Development Program cares for children with gender non-conformity. The Sex Development Program cares for children with differences in their sex development. Dr. Finlayson's research focuses on these topics and particularly fertility preservation for these individuals.
