Courtney “Lokos” Sokol is a senior in the school of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. She is a former newsroom intern for CNN’s Legal View with Ashleigh Banfield. Courtney has also written for publications such as the Daily Labor Report, The Cornell Alumni Magazine, and the Cornell Pre-Law Journal.
The variety of publications she has written for are representative of her main interests in labor, law, politics, and women’s issues. Being a college student is also a huge part of her identity, and she always makes time to get the most out of school, both on and off campus. Her favorite things include Hillary Clinton, sriracha, and oxford commas.
