Craig Hickman

Tennis fanatic. Renaissance man.

Craig Hickman is the founder and editor of Craig Hickman's Tennis Blog and the author of three books. Fumbling Toward Divinity, a Lambda Literary Award finalist, chronicles his search and reunion with his biological family and inspired his life blog by the same name. A critically acclaimed theatrical performance artist, he's the recipient of the James Baldwin Award for Cultural Achievement.

In November 2006, he launched Craig Hickman's Tennis Blog, irreverent musing from a tennis fanatic, that quickly became one of the most widely-read and top-ranked independent sports blogs on the Internet.

Originally from Milwaukee, he moved to New England in 1986 to attend Harvard University and graduated with a B.A. in government. He currently resides in central Maine where he owns and operates Annabessacook Farm, a bed and breakfast and sustainable farm that raises and sells organic produce, dairy and livestock.
