Craig Altemose is the founding Executive Director of Better Future Project and co-founded and Senior Adviser for the volunteer-led 350 Mass for a Better Future volunteer network. He has been an active leader in the climate movement since 2006 when he got involved in student climate organizing as a graduate student in Massachusetts. Through the work of his organizations, Craig has helped pass landmark climate legislation in Massachusetts, close the region's largest coal plant, divest multiple institutions from fossil fuels, increase the ambition of the state's climate action plan, and advance clean energy policy in the state. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from Eckerd College, a Master in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
