In 1998 Curtis Arnold founded CardRatings.com and, in so doing, pioneered the concept of rating credit cards online. He is also the founder of BestPrepaidDebitCards.com, a personal finance site focusing on helping consumers identify the best prepaid debit card or credit card for themselves and their families. He is regularly featured by national media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The Today Show and Good Morning America for his expertise in the credit industry. He is the author of "How You Can Profit from Credit Cards" and co-author of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Person-to-Person Lending." Arnold is co-chair of the Arkansas chapter of the Jump$tart Coalition for Financial Literacy, a national non-profit organization that seeks to improve the personal financial literacy of young adults and prides himself on being a strong consumer advocate.
