EY Americas Recruiting Leader

Dan Black is the Americas Recruiting Leader for EY, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services. Dan leads a team of executive, experienced and campus recruiters in solidifying EY member firms’ market leadership position as an employer of choice in North and South America. He is also actively involved in developing EY’s global talent acquisition strategy and regularly consults with EY clients on their recruitment and employer brand strategies as well. Additionally, Dan is a past president and longtime board member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the leading US organization focused on the employment of the college educated. With nearly 20 years of recruiting expertise, Dan is a highly sought after speaker who frequently provides insights on recruiting trends and is a passionate advocate on behalf of Millennials. Dan regularly provides commentary through leading media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, CNN, National Public Radio, CBS Radio, FORTUNE, Forbes, Fox Business, and the New York Times, among others. He has served as a keynote speaker at universities, conferences, and industry events around the world. He is active in numerous professional and academic organizations, including regular involvement with his alma maters, Binghamton University and Fordham University. Prior to his recruiting career, Dan served as a certified public accountant and assurance services professional for financial services clients of Ernst & Young LLP. Personally, Dan remains active in his community and in philanthropic organizations. He serves as a Corporate Advisory Board member for the March of Dimes, ranking among its top 100 US fundraisers for the past seven years. Additionally, Dan is a volunteer firefighter and Treasurer for the Archville Fire Department and is a Board Member for the Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow AYSO Youth Soccer organization. Dan and his wife, Lisa, live in Westchester County, New York with their two children.
