Daniel Cates is a full-time student, theatrical director and performance artist in Dallas, Tex. He works as a regional coordinator in the Lone Star State for GetEQUAL, a nationwide network of grassroots, direct action LGBT activists and organizers. Currently he is working with organizers across his home state on issues like employment non-discrimination and marriage equality.
