Daniel Clement is a dedicated, hands-on New York divorce and family law attorney with more than 25 years’ experience. Selected as a Super Lawyer, he takes a pragmatic, individualized and realistic approach to helping his clients through the often thorny path of divorce. Daniel knows that divorce is filled with tension. Though one of your deepest and most meaningful relationships has ended, it need not be devastating. Daniel will help you take a pragmatic approach to your divorce, focusing on your wants and needs and working hard to achieve your goals. A marital breakup may have legal, financial and psychological consequences for you and your family. Daniel will counsel you to make decisions that will allow you to move forward with your life. Daniel writes and maintains a blog, the New York Divorce Report, which explores current topics in New York family law and matrimonial practice. In addition, he co-authored the book “Onward and Upward: Guide to Getting Through New York Divorce and Family Law." In addition to practicing, Daniel has extensively written and lectured on a range of family law issues. Daniel graduated from Brooklyn Law School and the State University of New York at Albany. Daniel is a member of the New York City Bar Assoc., and has served as a member of the Matrimonial Committee. He has also worked as an Arbitrator in the Small Claims Court of the City of New York.
