Dan Collins is the New York Editor of the Huffington Post. A veteran journalist, Collins has worked as a correspondent for <em>U.S. News & World Report</em>, a reporter for the <em>New York Daily News</em> and a senior producer for, the Web site of CBS News. His stories have appeared in the <em>New York Times</em>, the <em>Los Angeles Times</em>, the <em>Village Voice</em> and other publications. Collins has co-authored four books, including <em>Grand Illusion The Untold Story of Rudy Giuliani and 9/11</em> (with Wayne Barrett); <em>I, Koch</em>, a biography of New York Mayor Ed Koch; <em>In the Name of the Law</em>, the story of former Abscam prosecutor Tom Puccio; and <em>The Millennium Book</em>, a book about the year 2000.
