Daniel V. McGehee, PhD, is director of the Human Factors and Vehicle Safety Research Division at the University of Iowa Public Policy Center. His team was the first to study young drivers using event-triggered video systems. He has studied driver distraction and designed vehicle safety systems for over 20 years.
