Daniela Kon is the Founder and Executive Director of the Social Impact Media Awards (SIMA), and international documentary and impact agency, DEEDA Productions. Creating at the intersection of human rights and entertainment for the past decade, her work ranges from the award-winning documentary "Talibe" and the United Nations "Ending Hunger Campaign" to collaborations with activists and organizations working in Education, Voluntourism, Youth Leadership, Girls’ and Women’s Empowerment, LGBT Rights, Food Security, Water Management, Children’s Rights, and Modern-day Slavery. Daniela is a member of the Creative Activist community of Creative Visions Foundation, a Board Member of the Film and Women’s Rights Committee of Human Rights Watch in Los Angeles, a producer and consultant for impact media productions and international advocacy campaigns. @sima_awards
