Danielle Ripley-Burgess is a two-time colon cancer survivor first diagnosed at age 17 in 2001. Her second diagnosis came at age 25. She is the first in her family to carry the Lynch syndrome gene. Each day she navigates the world of being a 30-something millennial that’s survived cancer for over a decade. Her love of cookies, adventures of parenting a biracial adopted child and romance with her high school sweetheart-turned-husband give her plenty of stories to share. Her faith is the fuel that powers her to write. Danielle is a published devotional author and works as the Director of Communications at Fight Colorectal Cancer. She lives in the Kansas City area and blogs regularly at DanielleRipleyBurgess.com
